In the midst of the chilly winter of 2022 in Helsinki, Finland, Paintbase was born. We, the creators of this website, are a group of tech enthusiasts from Sweden who are passionate about innovation.

After a decade of research, we had finally solved the puzzle of car color codes, which laid the foundation for Paintbase.app.

Now we're working to unravel this extremely complex world of car color codes and build the best possible solution for people looking to buy paint for their cars. 🇬🇧🚗🎨

We're a small (but mighty) team of developers and designers who get unreasonably excited about:

• Building useful tools that make life easier
• The perfect shade of Stockholm sky blue
• Fika breaks (obviously)
• Debating whether coral is more orange or pink

With over 10 years of navigating the car industry's twists and turns, we're still amazed at how tricky finding the right color code can be. It's like trying to assemble IKEA furniture without instructions – frustrating and potentially expensive if you get it wrong!

That's the reason we decided to roll up our sleeves and get to work. Our goal is to create a service so simple, even your grandma could find her car's color code (no offense, Grandma, you're great with tech!).
